Sunbeams...

Well my little Gracie Roo is now going to Sunbeams. It is a weird feeling because next will be Kindergarten. It gives me anxiety just thinking about it. Dan said that when he went to pick her up from her classroom the teacher was telling her that she had enough crackers. She then proceeded to take another one and climb under the table to eat it...as if nobody knew what she was doing and she would be safe there. Such a booger but I do feel for her. It has got to be a shock to go from toys and snack time to none! I wanted to take her picture this Sunday to document what she looked like. Such a wiggle worm! All I have to say to her teacher is Good Luck!

Shabby Baby Girl Contest...

Gracie will be four years old in March and loves to be a princess. I do photography for a hobby/profession and so far, Gracie is my favorite subject. She is so photogenic and such a natural in front of the camera. Gracie is already into fashion. She changes her clothes multiple times a day and sometimes will change her outfit to match a certain occasion. I think Gracie would look best in the Caribbean Blue Dress.

Been a long time...

For the last maybe 7 or 8 years my family has had the Christmas tradition of going on a hay ride and also having a family party/talent show. Our hay ride has grown from one to two trailers decorated with christmas lights and are pulled by either a tractor or trailer. We drive around the neighborhoods knock on doors and sing christmas songs. The talent show is after that and we usually reserve the cultural hall. Each family can have all or some of their kids perform. Funny or serious talents. My personal favorites were Emma and Wick's guitar/conga duet, Emma your voice is beautiful, Rex, Tommy, Bruce, Bowen and Issac belly dance to Jingle bells, and nothing topped 10? year old Levi's beatboxing...also to Jingle Bells. It was serious stuff and totally awesome! Those are just to name a few. After everyone joins in the singing...a special visitor comes and brings us gifts. Last year it was Mrs. Clause and this year it was Rudolf the "orange" nosed reindeer. Mom you are so clever.

Presents from Grandma aka Rudolf. Obviously she was excited about them. :)

I'm so glad I got a picture of my mom's costume. Notice the lights wrapped around her...plugged into an extension cord. What would Christmas be like without my moms creativity? She is such a hoot!

One of the two trailors.

All bundled up.

Christmas morning.

Another family tradition that we have is our Christmas Brunch. Usually at my sister Amy's House and everyone brings a dish, treat, or sometimes both. I wish I would have taken pictures of the MOUNTAINS of food. It was so delish and I look forward to it every year. Then later that day I had a couple of family photo shoots. They went really well. I'll have to post pictures later. Hope everyone is doing well. -Becky

Just a random picture I found on my camera. I'm thinking Callie took this. They kinda look alike when they are making the same expression.

A couple weeks ago our friends Troy and Whitney took our family pictures. They did such a great job and I'm anxious to get them hung on our walls. I can't believe how big our girls are getting. Gracie is such an awesome big sister and Reece and Violet are so content and happy. We love our little family and we have such a great time together.

I love this one of Gracie staring up at us. Too funny!

Our true personalities showing here.

Where to start. ?? Times at the McArthur house have been crazy busy. Schools almost done. Dan is finally finished with clinicals. The babies are over 5 1/2 months. Violet started crawling a couple weeks ago. Reece is still working at it. Violet cut her first tooth. Reece is so teething! ( she screams non-stop like she is irritated) Reece likes to cruise backwards in the walker. Gracie continues to keep me on my toes. I think she is going through a growth spurt because she thinks she is constantly starving! I got a sweet new camera and some lenses. My brother Spencer and his fiance Dustynn were married last week on mine and Dan's 6 year anniversary. 6 Years! We celebrated while in the valley with dinner at Gordon Bierch sp? with our girls and Troy and Whitney and later went to see Twilight. Loved it! I got to take Spencer's wedding pictures and they turned out so good. We threw my BFF Whitney a rockin birthday party with yummy food and fun games. Happy Birthday Whit! We've started getting our food storage together and have about a 4 month supply. Thanksgiving was so delicious as usual! We had a girls night a few nights ago and saw Twilight again. So fun. I got a new photography website. www.beckymcarthur.com -check it out. All of us are totally loving life! Here are some pictures from the last few weeks. Enjoy!

Food Storage!

Happy Anniversary!

We celebrated our anniversary on November 21st. Six years later and we still kinda like each other. :) No really I'm so happy and it's been a blast being married to you Dan. So full of surprises and I love that you are such an amazing husband and father. I hope we have many, many, more years together. I love you!

I haven't posted pictures of the babies for quite a while. They are 5 months old now and growing too fast! I'm loving being a mom and I'm so thankful that Dan works so hard so I can stay home and not miss all the cute things they do. Reece still talks and squeals all the time. When you mimic her she gets so excited and talks even louder. Violet spits and blows bubbles constantly. I'm not sure if I wrote about them rolling all over the place. They've been rolling over for about a month and a half. They reach for everything and get so excited when they see each other. It's so cute to watch. I think that both of them are teething. They've been a little cranky here and there and are drooling non-stop! I just put them down for a nap and both of them start whining as soon as I set them in their crib. They stick out their little bottom lips and whine like I've done something horrible. It's too funny. Here's some pictures. I know it seems like in most pictures Reece is crying all the time but she really is so happy all the time. I set Reece up on the couch and turned around to get Violet and Reece fell forward and bumped her head on my camera that was sitting right next to her. So...obviously she is pretty upset. :)

Reece's huge grin.
