She is growing up so fast. Such a little talker with A LOT of information to give. She is always taking care of her family and especially her babies. I am always tripping over them as she is constantly lining them up with their blankets and pillows. I'm always getting shushed too because "her babies are sweeping." Yep, she can't say her L's yet. And she has a lisp. So cute. Things have been pretty busy here around the McArthur home but we seem to always find time to make it to the park. Gracie loves to be outside. I'm more of a homebody but she'll definitely remind me when she has cabin fever and needs to get out.
Gracie loves music and is my little ballerina. She definitley has Dan's moves when it comes to dancing. Boy, can she get down. :) She is also our little cookie monster as you can see from the pictures with Oreo all over her face. That-she gets from me!!! :) All those oreos with milk and peperoncinnis I ate when I was pregnant with her. Believe it or not, she loves those too. We're still working on the whole potty training thing. Not too successful. She gets really dramatic when we sit her on her potty. It's constantly, "my tummies hurt!! I want a diaper!! I can't go!! I'm gonna fall!!" The whole works. We've tried bribing her with Dora ice-cream, princess panties, a trip to the park. She is just too stubborn. I wonder where she gets that from?!
Dan is doing great with nursing school. We are so excited for the opportunities that will be open to us once both of us finish our nursing degrees. I put in my application for this spring semester and will be done with most of my co-requisites this semester. Volleyball and school are kicking my buns. I have this problem with trying to do it all....at the same time. Dan is constantly trying to get me to slow down. When I do, I get bored and end up heaping a bunch more things on my plate for me to do. I love having a busy life. It makes it exciting.
This Sunday, Dan gave an awesome talk. He spoke in the 5th Sunday combined RS, priesthood class. He talked on missionary work, (he is the ward mission leader). He did an excellent job. I was so proud of him and couldn't help from grinning at him. I hope I wasn't a distraction. :) I had the volleyball girls over for dinner. Hawaiian haystacks. So YUMMY. They love having a "mom" on the team. Sometimes I'll get calls right before practice asking me to bring them something to eat because the line at the cafeteria is long and they won't get their food in time. I have a lot of fun taking care of them. They're sweet girls. :) Well, I'm gonna head to bed. Not enough sleep and we have a game tomorrow. Mesa CC. Hopefully we win. Go Monsters! :)
